Indigenous Heritage 2017 addressed indigenous peoples’ rights to their cultural heritage from the perspective of indigenous peoples themselves as well as international and national legal frameworks. It provided a great opportunity for exchange among researchers, representatives of indigenous peoples, museums, ministries, governmental and non-governmental institutions, practitioners, and students.
