Re­gis­tra­tion fees

Please note that after June 3, 2022 a place for the conference dinner is subject to availability.
Regular onsite participation before 30.4.2022: 550 EUR
Regular onsite participation after 30.4.2022: 600 EUR
Student onsite participation 250 EUR
Accompanying persons fee 150 EUR
Virtual participation (oral, poster, student) 70 EUR

Industrial exhibition participation 1500 EUR (incl. up to 2 participants)

Onsite registration fee includes lunches and coffees during the working days, bus card, conference dinner and excursion. Accompanying person’s fee includes bus tickets, conference dinner and excursion. To be eligible for the students registration fee a certificate confirming the active student status must be provided by e-mail as it will be advised in the registration page after the registration is open. In this case, the registration will be confirmed only after receiving such a document.

Payment of registration fees

When choosing your payment type, please note that invoice option is available only until June 3, 2022. For registrations made after June 3, 2022 payment can be done only by credit card, including on-site registrations.

  • Invoice payment (available only until June 3, 2022):

    • Invoicing fee 18 Eur will be added to all invoices. Note that an additional fee of EUR 18 will be charged for any changes to a sent invoice (e.g. invalid invoicing address or additional data not given during registration).

    • The invoice reference number must show as identification on bank transactions. The invoice will include all necessary international bank information for the bank transfer. All bank charges should be covered by the payer.

    • Registration and other reservations will be confirmed only once a full payment has been received.

  • Credit card payment:

    • The following credit card are accepted: Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.

    • Credit card payments are processed via an SSL secured credit card payment link at the end of the on-line registration form.

Participants may request invitation letters to the ICACS29-SHIM11. For more detail see the Travel page (Visa requirements).

In­sur­ance

The conference organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference.

Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.

Code of con­duct

We kindly ask all participants to agree to the Code of Conduct.

Can­cel­la­tion and refund policy for registration fees

All cancellations must be made in writing to icacs-shim2022@confedent.fi

Registration type may be changed from onsite participation to virtual participation until June 3, 2022. A handling fee of EUR 15 will be deducted from the refund.

If registration type is changed from virtual participation to onsite participation, difference between the fees will be charged accordingly. In this case, registration type from virtual participation to onsite participation may be changed free of handling fees until June 3, 2022. Possible payment method fee will be charged normally (invoicing fee EUR 18 will be added to all invoices, credit card payment has no payment method charge).

After June 3, 2022 there are no refunds in case of registration type change.

For registration and accommodation, an administration fee of EUR 50 will be applied to all cancellations made by April 30, 2022.
No refunds will be made for cancellations made after April 30, 2022.

100% payment to be made if fees not paid at the time of cancellation.
There will be no refund for no-shows. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle a participant to any refunds.

The Conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind so please check the validity and coverage of your own travel insurance.

The organisers do not take responsibility for force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, outbreak of severe contagious epidemic, major strikes etc.). In such case, the organising committee will decide upon refunding of paid fees.
