Atypical Interaction Conference AIC2019 aims to advance research which uses Conversation Analysis (CA) to investigate naturally occurring social interactions involving participants facing communication challenges. Besides the challenges, research on interactions has the potential to reveal the collaboration and resources of the participants. The conference gathers together researchers and specialists worldwide. As a multidisciplinary research field, we would like to welcome all those with interest in asymmetrical or atypical interaction to Helsinki on 17-19 June, 2019. The conference will be held at the main building of the University of Helsinki (Fabianinkatu 33, Helsinki, Finland).
