Russia is an important player in today’s world. In the future, there will be an increasing need for expertise in Russian culture, politics, and society in a variety of fields, in both national and international arenas.

The Master’s Programme in Russian Studies (MARS) at the University of Helsinki is a two-year multi- and interdisciplinary programme, which will help you think globally. We focus on Russia as a vital actor in globally-shared challenges.
